I did masters in Math from Lucknow University India in 1983 and then again another Masters from Canada ( University of Western Ontario ) in Statistics 1n 1989. I had physics, chemistry as minor subjects during undergrad. I have always been an A+ student and also was recommended for Gold Medal in Canada when I was doing Masters. A Little Bit About Me...

I use strategic questions to help guide students to the right answer without giving the answer directly to them. This allows the student to develop their own sense of logic when approaching problems so that when test time comes, they will be able to ask themselves questions similar to what I ask during tutoring sessions and help figure out the answer step by step. My style of tutoring will help students develop their logic and problem solving skills, so that even if a new type of problem is presented, they can use the methods they have learned to break the problem into easier portions and figure out how to solve it.

A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy seeing expressions of accomplishment when students truly grasp various concepts. I expect and demand "excellence," recognizing that "excellence" is a term relative to the student. It seems to me that students retain information most successfully when it has been presented so as to be personally relevant, so I attempt to tailor examples to the student's background.
Most of my experience has been as an engineer. I have worked on projects in Europe, Asia, and all over North America. I got involved tutoring high school students while my sons were in high school. Recently, I completed an MA in Education, and taught science and math for about a year and a half in a couple of Louisiana High Schools. I have a broad background for providing real-world examples of implementations of math and science.
