I try to work with students to find connections between different aspects of the material that we're working on as well as to find connections to other subjects. I find that by relating specific topics to broader perspectives on a subject as well as related subjects, the student can gain a greater appreciation for the coherence and importance of a particular subject area.
I have experience working with students who are advanced and seeking supplementary tutoring as well as with students who are having difficulty with a subject. I have tutored mathematics as well as chemistry, biology, physics, and other subjects. A Little Bit About Me...

While I studied for my undergraduate degree, I tutored fellow class mates in History, Business Law, English and other subjects. I taught study skills to help them improve their learning process. To broaden my tutoring horizons, I have recently studied basic Algebra. I have worked with international students on their English.
