I am currently in my 4th year of medical school and completed my undergraduate education at the University of California Berkeley where I received a bachelors in both Biology and Education. I tutored both math and english during my college years. I change my teaching style depending on the client. With ESL students, I will often point out every mistake to them so that they can get used to seeing what the correct way looks like. With other students, I point out a few mistakes, and then expect them to find the others on their own. With math, I will give out a sample problem, work out how it is done, then expect the student to do a new math problem on his or her own. All in all, I will adjust my teaching style depending on the needs of the client.

I myself had trouble with math when I was growing up and that helps me to break the standard down in smaller steps to help the student to understand. Love children and think that all are capable of learning!
