I graduated with honors with my AA from ACCC and maintained a 3.4 at Stockton College. While in school as a non-trad. student I have been a full time sub. teacher at Mainland Regional and Ocean City High Schools subbing for 9 years.I have worked with students of all ability levels from the special needs to gifted students. I did my student teaching in US Hist. II where I taught both struggling students and a section of Advanced Placement students. I am currently tuoring at an Academic Development Center and Student Support Services as a psychology and math tutor. I love sharing my knowledge with others and at the same time, I learn and gain alot from my students. When students come in with questions, I will first ask them what subject is it for, does the teacher give out any guidelines about the assignment, and what difficulties you have with this assignment. If it is math problem, I'll do serveral problems step-by-step with my students. Then, I'll pick a problem that was similiar to the problem that we just worked with, and ask them to do it. If they still have problems, I'll show the steps again one more time until they get it.
