The University of Delaware has integrated me into the education field with a variety of experiences. I will earn my degree in May of 2011, becoming certified in Elementary Teacher Education and Middle School Social Studies. Over the past few years, I have strengthened in my ability to work with students of diverse needs and present effective instruction for the particular learner. Because I have a passion for learning, I love to share my own knowledge with others. Because of my own children, I understand that every person has their own style of learning and I love to discover that avenue for people to help them to grasp whatever it is they are trying to understand. As a graduate of Wellesley College, I continaully strived to do achieve a high level of excellence. One of my biggest regrets in life is that I didn't get a teaching certification while I was in college. It is a profession which I would truly love. As the mother of two children, one of schoolage, I realize now that it would have been a great life choice for me.
