I have worked with all different ages of students, from 3rd grade to college, and enjoyed all of my experiences. I find that no matter who the student is I enjoy teaching and helping other, helping an individual to not only grasp concepts but develop a stronger self confidence in their learning. I am good at adapting to a variety of learning styles, especially since I have found that I learn from a variety of types myself. I have always been extremely patient when teaching others and found the act of teaching to be one of the most rewarding and enjoyable things for me.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in special education at Kent State University, and have a Bachelor's degree in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences. I have not tutored before, but I have previously worked in various settings that allowed me to work with students in trying to achieve their Individualized Education Plan goals. My experiences have covered many different subject areas and daily functional skills as well. I have a lot of experience working with children with disabilities, which is what I am currently studying and the area in which I am pursuing a Master's degree in at Kent State.
