A Little Bit About Me...

I feel that it is important to explain basic underlying theory behind science and math, as well as presenting these topics in a step by step, logical manner. I feel it is important to teach methods for how to obtain a solution and not rely on rot memorization of facts and equations.
As a graduate student I taught an undergraduate engineering lab course for a semester, and spend 2-3 additional semesters grading tests and assignments for various undergraduate level courses in mechanical engineering. In addition, I also worked as a tutor during my senior year in high school, as well as at various times while an undergraduate student in college. The subjects that I have teaching/tutoring experience are in the fields of math and science.

A Little Bit About Me...

Completing a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics in less than four years took dedication and excellent study skills. So far, I have only tutored people in Calculus, and Physics, but I am comfortable with Differential Equations, Discrete Math, freshman Chemistry and Biology, and pretty much anything Computer Science related at the undergraduate level.
I am excellent at breaking things down and making them easy to remember. Relating the subject material to something the learner can understand is key. I am very patient and will take the time to learn how to help each student in the most productive way I can.

A Little Bit About Me...

While earning my AS/BS degree in Graphics, I was employed at a label printer where I became Art Director. I helped incorporate a digital environment while at this job. I have exceptional typing skills and am well-versed in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
My teaching/training experience includes 9 years of instruction to dental technicians from 60 branches in the United States and Canada. These trainings took me all over the U.S. providing 2-5 day training courses on a CAD/CAM dental machine. I am very patient and realize that each individual has a different learning process and approaches to achieve effective education may vary from person to person.
