My comments on tutoring Jazz Dancing : I have danced most of my life and Jazz has always been one of my best and most common dance types.

I have always wanted to teach! So any opportunity I got in high school I took it! I was enrolled in the teaching academy all through high school. Through this academy I got to intern/teach many different grade levels. I started with a kindergarten class and then moved up to 6th grade P.E. and Science, then I moved to 3rd grade. I was also hired by the school district to be an AVID tutor for 7th and 8th graders. I have danced most of my life so when I was offered to co-choreograph the plays at my old Middle School I took it and did that for four years. I am also currently volunteering at my church to teach a class for 3rd graders on Sundays.

My comments on tutoring Jazz Dancing : 8 years class experience, 2 years choreography experience

I have worked previously as an au pair, summer camp counselor (Children's Arts Camp, Theater Pre-Orientation), and reading tutor. I have experience teaching children with various levels of autism and learning disorders. While my primary experience has been with performance arts such as dance, theater, and public speaking, I am also experienced in reading, composition, and creative writing. I am a fun teacher and enjoy tricking students into learning. I have developed games, songs, and various devices which attract attention and result in learning, regardless of whether the student even notices. I have a knack for revising sentences or instructions to captivate attention which encourages the student to answer or start writing immediately.
