I am enthusiastic about music - it is my favorite subject and I love both playing music and thinking about it. In that capacity I taught private performance lesson, coached chamber ensembles, conducted various ensembles. supervised and coached student teachers, performed in a faculty artist-in-residence quintet, performed solo recitals, assisted students in writing essays, resumes, and applications for positions in the teaching field or graduate studies. I also had many experiences helping students through difficult academic and personal issues. I was fortunate to be able to enter college full-time at the age of fourteen. This gave a great opportunity to pursue a wide variety of interests and still graduate slightly ahead of my peers. As a result I had almost completed the requirements for majors in several subjects, including chemistry, German, music and the subject I received my degree in, biology.
