I am kind of new to teaching. I have taught my little brother everything he knows, and I've been told I have a really good way of teaching. Younger students catch on very quickly to what it is I am teaching. If they don't catch on quick, then no problem. I'm very patient and never give up until a student understands the concept. I went to UC Merced with the goal of pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, in order to prepare me for admission to a PharmD program. From my studies at UC Merced, I earned a 3.78 GPA, and gained admission to multiple PharmD programs in California. While my formal tutoring experience is limited, I have had various experience tutoring friends and leading study groups in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and English.
I am a very empathetic teacher who gears my teaching based on the learner's needs. Each learner has a unique style of learning, and it is important for me as a tutor to cater to the learner's strengths.
