My teaching style is basic. I feel it is most important for a student to grasp the basics before they can move on to more complicated subject material. I also am a strong believer of parental involvement. A parent knows their children's learning patterns best. I like to use different approaches. Activities that are visually and mentally stimulting help to form a connection between the student and the lesson. It is important to me that each of my student's set and acheive goals.
As a high school student, I attended Tiffin University to gain college experience and credit earlier than expected. I love working with children. I believe that every child has the potential to learn, and as a tutor I work to find which way the child learns best, whether through sports or music, or other various activities. I am extremely patitent and understanding, and I am eager to help children. I strive to help children better themselves.
As a Psychology student, I understand the importance of learning. I tutored middle and high school aged children in all subject areas, particularly in math.
