Hi! I am graduating in May from a teacher preparation program at a local college. I was nominated for Promising Teacher of the Year in 2015. I am currently student teaching in Wichita. I have worked with children in a variety of roles from being a nanny, babysitting, working in a nursery, to being a paraprofessional. I believe every person has her or his own learning style. The best way to get a child to understand her or his own potential is to get to know each individual student. It takes a little more time, but making sure each student knows I care about their individual success has enabled me to teach those who never thought they would be able to speak in public to do so.
