A Little Bit About Me...

Interactive, involving much student to student and student to teacher communication. Small groups are frequent in my teaching methods. A student will never be put on the spot, but participation is highly encouraged.
I have had experience as a substitute teacher in a public school system, I have had numerous tutoring opportunities with children of all ages, including college level students. In my extensive and diversified career, I have found I enjoy passing my education and experiences on. I have completed instructor training and taught Basic Math (thru trig) and Blueprint Reading - utilizing my drafting skills. I am retired and have a genuine interest in tutoring/teaching on a part time basis.
Most of my teaching experience is in a construction site atmosphere with classrooms and materials supplied the client. I have excellent rapport with children and teens (had two of my own who finished college).
