My teaching style is focused on student achievement. Many parents complain that their child does poorly on tests. This is often a result of inadequate teaching practices which fail to recognize individual learning differences in students. My goal in teaching is to individualize the learning process for each student, so that the student understands and retains knowledge and is able to explain what they learned. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in learning by doing. In order for information to be retained, but must be practiced. I am not one that will stand and lecture a student, but allow them to show my where they are at with their skills, and work together to improve them. The student will dictate the pace, but I will dictate the focus of each session, after an assessment.
