A Little Bit About Me...

I just graduated with a BA in Psychology and are two courses short of a minor in Spanish and Sociology. I've always been very strong in the English/Language Arts/Writing areas as well. I am currently a certified substitute teacher and also already do some elementary tutoring. Some of my previous tutoring experience include writing, some psychological statistics and some basic math/language skills.
I love to teach and help others in general. I always had difficulty when I was younger finding a tutor or some help in my studies that I could understand easily. I love sharing my knowledge with others and at the same time, I learn and gain alot from my students. When students come in with questions, I will first ask them what subject is it for, does the teacher give out any guidelines about the assignment, and what difficulties you have with this assignment. If it is math problem, I'll do serveral problems step-by-step with my students. Then, I'll pick a problem that was similiar to the problem that we just worked with, and ask them to do it.
