I currently work at an Elementary School in Andover, KS as a special education paraeducator. I assist in grades Kindergarten - 2nd. I have an elementary teaching degree from Wichita State University. I student taught in 5th grade and 1st grade for Wichita Public Schools. I have worked as a substitute teacher in Andover, KS, and I also worked as a paraeducator for an elementary school in Wichita, KS for several years. I recently completed student teaching requirements for Kansas and will have my degree conveyed shortly. I chose to be a teacher as my second career. My comments on tutoring Elementary Reading : 10 years elementary

I have taught everything from Pre-K through the first two years of community college. For the last eight years I have been an Adjunct Instructor for Butler Community College in ElDorado, KS. Over the last 10 years I have spent approximately half of my time working with children with special needs and learning disabilties.
