I am a retired college English professor who taught several college transfer courses at the community college level. I also worked as a tutor for several years at the college. I hold a master's degree in Creative Writing and English Literature. My undergraduate degree is in Speech Correction. Currently, I am writing screenplays and making short films.
Because I have been teaching since the 1970s, I have extensive experience in several teaching styles and have a creative sensibility. I prefer to assess the student before making a determination as to the choice of learning strategies. I work well in a one-on-one approach.

I am an English major from Stony Brook University and a law school graduate from St. John's University School of Law. I was a practicing attorney for many years in the area of casualty defense litigation. I specialized in the preparation of legal briefs, which involved extensive legal research and writing.
