I have not yet become a classroom teacher. I have already applied to summer school programs throughout the state. As a coach, I feel that it is essential to inspire students/my student athletes. If you can ingite a desire to learn in students, I believe everything falls into place after that. I enjoy placing my student athletes into small groups to discuss for certain periods of time, and then I like to spend the rest of the time talking to them as a whole. While at Nichols College, I took a part time job at the local Boys & Girls club in Dudley Massachusetts. Here, I worked with children from a variety of backgrounds on their homework and various other projects especially mathematics in which I specialize in. Many of these children were living in more challenging home environments, sometimes lacking a father and or living in a troubled neighborhood. My textbook strengths would anything math, finance, accounting, and business related.
