Due to my experience with a broad range of young learners, each working at a different academic and or cognitive pace, I follow a modified Socratic approach to both my classroom and one on one instruction by placing the emphasis on the student as we identify areas for growth. I then sculpt an academic program that we both/all have helped to design, thus accessing an invaluable font of enthusiasm and insight addressing how best to approach the needs of each individual student. This is especially true for those students who don't feel heard, suffer from academic performance anxiety or are struggling with the manner in which the material has previously been presented to them.
