Throughout college I volunteered to educate school age children about egg/chick development in schools around Columbus. My first job out of college was to educate children and adults in high need areas about food science and nutrition. I then worked at a few different food science jobs while taking classes part time toward a masters in education and volunteering to tutor adults. I am currently enrolled in school full time to complete my prerequisites for the OSU M.Ed. in Biology and Chemistry. Science and math are very difficult subjects to teach at a middle/high school level and relate to things that students identify in their world. A brief bit about me, I have gained many years of teaching and training related work experience.
