My goal as a tutor is not to simply give children the answers they need to finish homework assignments. I encourage them to learn independently and strive to achieve their educational goals. A Little Bit About Me...

I was trained academically at PAFA to draw and paint still life, landscape, the human figure but as a child, my Mother introduced me to painting in the tub with newsprint taped to walls, with tempra paint in baby food jars to express myself. I love teaching young children but have worked with all ages, from tots to elders. I believe in teaching the process so that it is an experience of discovery and I provide a constructivist approach to learning, providing building blocks of information in lessons that provide tools for a strong foundation. I believe in teaching people how to learn and how to think.
