A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned a bachelors degree in Accounting and Business Management, along with a minor in Economics. I have worked for Northwest Savings Bank for the past 3 years, in many different areas. In my position, I help produce a quarterly report that is given to the department heads and shows the overall financial position of the bank. I also help lenders determine the financial situation of a potential borrower. While in college, I began tutoring 3-4 fellow students in Accounting.
I love working with all children and I believe that my experience working for Northwest Savings Bank would be an asset to helping children understand the finance and accounting world. A Little Bit About Me...

As an Honor roll student, a student on the Dean's list I was lucky to have graduated early. I taught six graders through opelia. I have also tutored a master's Student through her Statistics. Currently tutoring a student via online on her Senior Algebra for her Liberal Arts degree. I will hold a BA degree come december of 2010. Where I then plan to student teach and obtain a teaching certification.
I use all the main teaching tools. Both hands on and visually for those students who need different tools. I love to interact with children and adults helping them through their classes to better their future. I also enjoy having a hand in their future success. I truely believe that a great teacher is one who teaches for the greater growth of their pupils and personally I strive to help them succeed.

I strive to create innovative lessons in which students have fun and also have an interesting perspective on mathematics. It has been by my experience that students learn the best through topics in which they can relate. In addition to creating fun challenging lessons, I accommodate kinesthetic, auditory and visual learners.
