I am a certified teacher with masters degree in Mathematics from Central Michigan University. My bachelors degree is in secondary education with major in Mathematics and minor in Psychology. As a graduate assistant in CMU, I have taught College Algebra and Intermediate Algebra courses for two years. I have also worked at Sylvan Learning Center as a MATH/ACT instructor and taught as an ACT prep workshop instructor at Saginaw valley State University. I enjoy teaching groups as well as one on one sessions. I believe teaching in a group can be exceptionally helpful as children have the opportunity to not only learn from their designated teacher but also from each other. I enjoy working with all kinds of children and of any age. Teaching children individually is also extremely rewarding as one can give them his/her undivided attention. I like to approach tutoring on an individual basis. I like to learn what works best for each student and help them understand a subject in the way which best suits them. I believe that anyone is capable of learning anything if it is explained to them in the right way.
