A Little Bit About Me...

Working in education since 2006 with ages 6 weeks to 18 years. I have student teaching experience from kindergarten thru 12th grade. I have substitute taught for kindergarten thru 12th grade as well. I have been enlisted in the Illinois Army National Guard since June 2012, and am currently enrolled in the Officer Candidate Program. I have been tutoring kindergarden level through sylvan learning center since the fall semester of 2013.

I have also run my own business where I was responsible for all of the accounting and computers. I have designed custom reports in excel, word, and industry specific programs. I have worked with Penn State & Red Wing Software in implementing cost acctg. in the dairy industry. I have volunteered 14 yrs. as 2nd grade teacher at local parish school of religion. A Little Bit About Me...

While my area of expertise is physical education, I have gained great experience in other areas of education while searving as an in house substitute for Highland Elementary. Serving as an in house substitute provided me with experience working with large groups, as well as working with students on an individual basis. This experience also provided me with the wonderful opportunity to work with students with special needs. I have also served 2 years as a full time physical education teacher, which gave me an opportunity to interact with students and further understand the learning process.
I believe the biggest key to learning is finding a way for students to relate to the information.
