I needed to first, relieve the frustration – then determine what needed to be done to rectify the situation (through a question and answer processes). I love teaching and helping others learn something new. I love the smile in a child's eyes when they figure out what they have learned. As a type one diabetic, I constantly figure out new things and apply them to my life. I want to impact those I teach for the better, so they can share their knowledge with the world. I vary my teaching style. Some students are content with just reading while others need hands-on and visual experience. I believe in using technology, as the Smart Board and computer instruction in addition to textbook instruction. I do my best to keep the student's interest in mind, and I work at the student's pace.
