I graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan, a private school, with a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. After graduation I began teaching in Missouri at the middle school level for students with behavioral disorders. I taught all subjects in my classroom. After 2 years I moved to the high school level where I co-taught algebra and pre-algebra. I did this for 5 years and absolutely loved it! Although I do not have a degree in math, I am very comfortable teaching up to algebra as I did it for 5 years. I would be comfortable teaching any math subject up to the algebra level.
