As an MBA graduate I have a high level understanding of core business practices and principles. I have a finance and marketing concentrated MBA which allowed me to develop my writing and mathematical skills equally. In 2005 I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Communication and minors in psychology and marketing. I also have 3 years experience with small businesses. While attaining my undergraduate degree, I worked as an intern at Triple Crown Publications doing copywriting, editing and ghost writing work. After graduating from the University of Illinois with a B.A. in Rhetoric & English, I gained a year and a half of experience in the field of Public Relations where I further refined my writing and editing skills. I spent two years as a long term substitute with Columbus City Schools. I completed my student teaching assignment at a local high school in Colorado Springs and taught remedial English to students who had failed the class at least once prior. I then went to graduate school and earned my MA in English and entered the corporate world of education and training.
