It isn't that mathematics is too hard for most people, it is just too frustrating for most people. So my job is to set my client at ease and to create a learning environment. I love teaching. While I have also been a counselor and administrator, I managed to be able to at least tutor along the way, with a few exceptional years. I found that children were especially responsive to me, so I often found myself with elementary children (who, under my tutelage, managed to "catch up" an/or improve their grade point average -- often to their parents' delight). For the past 2 years since graduating from the University of Oregon I have been working full-time as Psychosocial Rehabilitator within the educational environment of various elementary and secondary schools. I currently manage a Therapeutic Learning Center focused on behavioral modification within the Special Education Department of a local high school.
