My comments on tutoring Math : I am a Tennessee licensed and certified mathematics teacher for grades 7-12. I have 8 years experience teaching at the high school level, and two years experience teaching at the middle school level. I have taught both 7th grade math as well as 8th grade Pre-Algebra.

I attended West Coast Baptist College from 2008 to 2012 to become a math instructor. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Math Education upon graduation in 2012. A Little Bit About Me...

Tutoring students and resolving confusion are simply additional problems to solve in math. Since many students learn in different ways, one must be able to explain the same concept in various ways. The development of these alternate methods of description is a great way for not only the student to learn but also for the tutor to better understand the material.
In my final year at MTSU, Spring and Fall 2010, I had the pleasure of tutoring in mathematics. I worked for both the department of mathematics and the athletic enrichment center, each providing a different tutoring experience.
