I believe that teaching needs to be fun and engaging for students. If they can touch and experience what they are learning, they are much more likely to remember the key concepts they are being taught. Students also need to be shown how what they are teaching relates to the real world. All of this can be accomplished using research based methods that are proven to be effective in teaching students of all ability levels. All students can be successful in their learning, but each student is unique in how they will be successful. I have experience in teaching elementary & secondary grade levels. Having taught kindergarten and first grade, I have knowledge of the scope of learning for those levels as well as tutoring experience within that age group.
