I teach based on how the particular student can grasp and understand what is being taught because students have their own methods and mental tools to open themselves to what is being taught, so that they learn. I have been teaching for 20 years as a physics and chemistry teacher, and last year I moved to Canada where I attended the bachelor program in electronical engineering field at Uqam University. In Morocco I earned a three-diploma in physics at the University of Chouaib Doukkali in Eljadida City. Afterwards I attended a teaching institute where I earned a teaching certificate. Teaching and working with children is a hard task that requires academic knowledge and also the suitable approaches to learning. I first like to explain the tangible concept to students, citing real-world examples. Next, it is appropriate to transition to explaining the details of the concept/equation at hand. Finally, most importantly, I believe in extensive practice of multiple problems. It is especially helpful to show students how to solve problems in different ways which arrive at the same answer. This helps reinforce the concept and practice. Since my undergraduate years at Georgia Tech, I have been teaching college and high school physics to family members and friends. In 2009, I began teaching for two metro Atlanta tutoring firms. I specialize in high school and undergraduate physics, but I am qualified to teach algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and pre-calculus.
