I have always loved working with children. My teaching style is friendly, and casual, but still quite demanding. I try to create a comfortable and fun tutoring environment, but within that environment I challenge my students to work past their difficulties to reach levels of achievement they may not have previously believed themselves capable of. In order to create this environment I tend to incorporate games, novels, and fun worksheets that are right at the edge of a student's comfort level into my lessons. I believe that any child can achieve excellence if given caring instruction, and sufficient encouragement. Through fun, friendship, and support I can help any child achieve and surpass their goals.

A Little Bit About Me...

My pre-medical school coursework allowed me to gain conceptual and hands-on understanding in the areas of inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, and biology. In addition to my scientific training, I enrolled in the Honors program with a concentration on Western Civilization. The curriculum that the Honors program offered took me through the writings of Homer to the films of Roman Polanski. I have gained extensive experience writing research papers, laboratory reports, book reviews, memoirs, fictional stories, and analytical critiques.
