Meet You Where You're At. It's simple, it's kinda like AAA really... I'm going to come to you; wherever you are at cognitively. However you need something explained and/or broken down we are going to work together and communicate until we find the language that you best understand it in. I obtained my BA in Social Work and have worked in that field since 1993. In 2005 I began a part time job as an Adult Education instructor for Sentinel Career Center where my primary focus was language arts/writing. I was part of the STAR reading program where I became certified to teach adults to read. In this program and as a GED instructor I have tutored many individuals of varying ages, education levels and backgrounds. In my work as a social worker, I work primarily with children with mental health issues/learning disabilities where the focus is on behavior, organizational,study and communication skills and parenting education.
