I like to teach by example and give the student the opportunity to learn by doing. I believe in presenting each child with a verbal and visual explanation of each objective. I then believe that each child needs the chance to complete a task with encouragement and success before independent work. Assessment should only be taken AFTER a child has experienced numerous chances for understanding, practice, and mastery. I believe that no two students learn alike and the most important thing is to make sure students are having fun with learning.
