I have teaching Geometry for 8 years and Chinese for 7 years in public high school system. Algebra and pre-Algebra proficiency is always the biggest problem for the students of mine. Therefore, on top of teaching geometry I often need to teach algebra and pre-algebra as well since they are all heavily related. In addition, I born and raise in Taiwan. I love teaching, that is for sure! "Being a college teacher" was one of my dreams when I was a kid. I teach my students how to find the "keys" for solving math problems. I tell them that there is only a "paper window" between them and the "truth of math". My job is to help them tear the paper down; it is not difficult, as long as you find the right way. I encourage my students, and with the right math skills, they gain confidence very quickly.

I graduated in Palm Harbor High school in the IB program. I earned a 800 on the SAT math portion. My undergraduate degree was Management though the University of Florida and I am also pursuing my MBA degree at UF. My strong subject is math, any type of math. I have tutored a few middle school students. I have also helped my friends with their college math courses.
I like working with kids and be able to help them find joy in learning new things. I am patient with children. I love interacting with children. I believe that everyone has the ability to learn any subject given the approprate attention and attitude. The greatest pleasure for me is seeing the faces of these children when they understand something that they were having difficulty with. My overall goal and objective is to just to help and if I can reach one child I would consider that a success.

I majored in Advertising and Chinese Literature when I wan in NCCU Taiwan. Before I came to the United States, I have tutored students in English and Mandarin Chinese for years. I also went back to Asia to attend the traing program of TEACHING CHINESE AS SECOND LANGUAGE and earned the certificate by WCLA.
Currently I have students from 2 years old to 55 years old. Most of my adult students can carry the basic conversation in Mandarin after taking the class for 20 hours. Some of them can write the short essay without problems. I believe that everyone can learn Mandarin even though many people think it's a very difficult language.
