My comments on tutoring Algebra : I know Algebra I very well and completed it in class with an A+

I acquired my tutoring experience teaching my classmates a few lessons of math classes here and there in subjects like pre-algebra, both algebra I and II, and pre-calculus. From my tutoring classes, they have seen significant results.I have also had previous experience in teaching piano using the Suzuki program. My tutoring experience also stretches on into teaching violin, in which again the students have seen significant improvement.
I try to make the lesson fun and applicable to real life so that the student can be interested in the topic instead of just feeling like they have to memorize the information.

Solve ALL your problems with a math tutor!

While completing my degree, I worked in the math department as a tutor. I often had several students with various subjects simultaneously. It was a challenge to constantly switch topics, but I apparently did it so well that I almost had a regular class that showed up every time I was on duty. Several students told me that I explained things on a level they could understand as opposed to the high-level language the professor used. I have also done private tutoring since then.
I generally work through an example while explaining. Then as the student works the problems, I instruct by asking prompting questions with decreasing frequency until the student can complete problems without any assistance.

My comments on tutoring Algebra : Completed over 12hrs college coursework in algebra alone.

I've either taught or tutored in some form or fashion for over 17yrs now. I've had ages 3yrs to 22yrs old covering all manner of subjects and hobbies. One of my most rewarding experience was with an 18 year old special needs 10th grader ready to drop out of school. We met 2-3x a week for 6mths. In that time he raised his GPA from 1.2 to 2.7. A Little Bit About Me...
