I have an Associates in Applied Science degree from Lake Land College in Network Administration. I have worked in many supervisory positions as well. Most recently as the Automated Guided Vehicle Systems Coordinator at Caterpillar Inc. in Decatur Illinois. I have written many reports and essays over the last eighteen years. I obtained Secondary Teacher Certification in Social Sciences. I taught high school and middle school Spanish for two and half years at public schools, and completed my student teaching at an alternative school for juvenile criminals. I was an at home teacher for my school district when children were out for extended periods due to illness. I have completed additional continuing education in working with gifted and special needs children. I enjoy sharing my passion for learning with others and love to see the “light” come on when a student finally understands a concept.
