Please read first comment. I've been an elementary school teacher for 10 years. I have a master's degree in education and am certified in the state of NC for K-6 education. I have taught and tutored kindergarten-5th grade. I am also Orton Gillingham certified. I am very hands-on - I use games just as much as traditional teaching methods. I am a high school student, who has helped my fellow students many times. I enjoy watching the lightbulb go off in someone's head when they finally understand something and I am hoping that I will be able to help others by tutoring :) I am in Algebra II this year, so I do not feel comfortable teaching a subject I have not learned yet. I will refuse any offers for someone who needs help with Geometry or statistics and probability , because those are not my best subject.
