I have tutored individuals in grades 1-12 in various subject areas. I have been encouraged to pursue English, Writing, and Journalism as professions because of my talent in each area. I have tested at least 4 grade levels above my grade level since I began taking standardized tests. I have the ability to disect subjects in a way that makes learning fun and understandable.

I taught high school and middle school Spanish for two and half years at public schools, and completed my student teaching at an alternative school for juvenile criminals. I was an at home teacher for my school district when children were out for extended periods due to illness. I have completed additional continuing education in working with gifted and special needs children. I enjoy sharing my passion for learning with others and love to see the “light” come on when a student finally understands a concept.
