The goal of my teaching style would to help bring joy in creative expression and knowledge to all of my students especially in the areas of math and science. I consider myself very approachable, understanding and patient. I also believe that my students need to learn discipline and integrity. I know that all students learn differently at various levels and I try to tailor my self for that student to learn the best way possible. My greatest joy as a tutor and professor is to witness the "Ah-ha" moment when the light bulb comes on and the student puts the pieces together and comes to understand the topic, and, perhaps more importantly, understands the significance or ramifications of the topic in relation to other topics or disciplines. As the “Ah-ha” moments add up a student’s confidence grows. Ultimately, this confidence in learning is what I am trying to achieve. I want the student to learn and believe that there is nothing he/she can’t achieve with effort and perseverance. I believe that anyone can learn anything. I have a very friendly and gregarious approach with students. It’s my goal to help students achieve success and reach their maximum potential.
