A Little Bit About Me...

I have enjoyed teaching Chemistry, Computer Programming and Freshman General Science for the past 20 years in Missouri and Kansas. I like to use current events and computerized resources to help students learn. I love science, but more importantly I know how to help students understand concepts rather than memorize. In college, in addition to pursuing my English-writing minor, I worked on campus at a facility that assisted students in writing research papers. This position included troubleshooting grammar, dictation, and content of papers. Also, during 2 summer months, I taught creative writing and was a paraprofessional for a school district.
