Trumpet is one of my top subjects! has been my top instrument choice since 4th grade

My name is John Gray and I am a sophmore in highschool looking to help other young musicians learn to play the trumpet. I have always stood out in music and have a great background in school. I'm an athlete as well as a musician so I can get along great with an athletic student as well. As of right now I have the first seat in my highschool band class and look to continue to improve my musical talents.
Perferably an in-home tutoring with an hour or two per session. The trumpet is a complex instrument and therefore requires hard work and participation.

With my background and degree being in music, I have enjoyed finding creative ways to induce wonder and enthusiasm for learning in my students. Since I have worked students with a wide variety of learning issues; I feel that I am well prepared to assess and deliver educational materials and instruction to any student. I understand that each student has his learning style and prefers specific modalities such as: games & puzzles, logical sequential, the arts, naturalistic, etc. Although those would not be the only modalities I would use to educate my students, I feel that I must acknowledge this and respond with a portion of the lessons directed at personal interest.
