I find it's best to get to know each child individually before picking a teaching style to use. Most of my students have been successful because I mold me tutoring plans around their individual needs
I have spent the last three year being a nanny and tutor for kids in a variety of age groups. I have worked with all kinds of kids including special needs children, group home kids, High school students in AP classes, and Dyslexic children. I also have taught swim and Flute lessons in the past. I really enjoy working with children and, form my experience, children really enjoy working with me.

I taught 8 semesters at Ventura Community College and I have two community college credentials(psychology and special education). I am a licensed psychologist and I perform psychological assessments for the Department of Rehabilitation. I obtained an AA degree in mathematics in 1989. I currently work part-time as an Instructional Assistant at Sacramento City College.
