I have done school tutoring and some tutoring with younger family memebers who are dyslexic and who have ADHD. I havent had any exsperince with people outside of school and family but I found out that my ways of learning are very helpful and I think I can provide them to children who need helpin any subject.
I like to make songs that children can learn from and I also like to make colorful diagrams and charts that make it more easier to read and remember.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Ronald Reagan High School with a 4.6 GPA in the second graduating class ('08), then went on the NC State University to study Engineering, where I jumped in between various Engineering programs for three years before simply deciding to take a break and truly figure out what I want to study. While this may deter several people from choosing me, I know that if you met me and/or any of my teachers from any grade level, they/I could certainly set the record straight, as I am quite a smart person, I have simply struggled with getting my life into an appropriate schedule. I graduated in 2007 with my business degree and moved to NC. I worked for a mental health agency helping children in broken homes with school work and being a positive male role model as well as taking pre reqs to return to school for my masters degree in physical therapy. I have an open style to teaching. I believe that if you show someone the subject; allow them to do the task along with taking notes that they retain most of the information. I also strongly believe that the learning environment needs to be fun and enjoyable. I also give my students small test throughout the class, and then give them an exam at the end. I enjoy teaching and working with students, especially in high school and middle school. I think the greatest degree of success tutoring will be achieved working one on one in a comfortable study environment. I also feel that learning is best achieved through mistakes and being able to truly "learn" and not memorize.
As a graduate in Sports Medicine, I have an extensive background in all science related classes. I also minored in Religion and almost had enough credits to minor in Psychology as well.
