Learning is serious, but that doesn't mean it has to be grim

I encourage higher order thinking, and help students learn to become self-directed and independent. Not only will your child develop greater skills and knowledge in each discipline, he/she will develop many specific thinking strategies and skills which they will apply in the classroom and throughout life. My mottos is, "Learning is serious, but that doesn't mean it has to be grim." I believe in making learning exciting, and especially in helping children learn to believe in themselves as successful learners. I love to teach and enjoy teaching English as well. I am very good at grammar and all areas of the English language. In my work as a writer, I make extensive use of this.
