My recent experience in teaching children includes my own personal experience as I have been teaching my two year old her ABC's, Spanish, counting, etc. I believe it is important for her to gain a global perspective of the world and therefore I teach her about not only our own religion and customs, but also those languages and religious customs of those living in other parts of the world. However, as a student at Susquehanna University, I also volunteered at least 2 days a week at a local preschool where I helped teach the students. In addition, I worked at a local elementary after-school program 2 days a week. I am currently pursuing my teaching certification through Drexel University.
While I enjoy business, working with children is my passion, hence why I am pursuing my teaching certification. I believe the best way to teach students any skill is to let them have hands on experience with it.
