I taught high school English for three years. My students ranged from far below basic to advanced. I am a former social worker, "turned teacher".

I use lesson plans and schedules left by the teacher, as well as textbooks and other materials like workbooks which are familiar to the children. I leave a written synopsis of the day for the teacher, including notes on behavioral issues or good/helpful behaviors.

My professional background before tutoring was in banking, insurance claims, and healthcare administration. I love tutoring one on one and in small groups.
