As a graduate of a private college, I have always been driven to perform at the top of my game. I have received two Bachelors degrees in both English literature and theater. Early in my collegiate career I gained a position as a teaching assistant (TA) and taught a required first year course for 3 out of my 4 years of college. In this position, I noticed that a lot of writing skills were missing from first year students that I felt that they should hav possessed and created and implemented a collegiate level writing and researching workshop that the college still uses. There is no feeling like the joy felt once a student grasps a concept you're trying to share. For that reason, I attempt to explain things in multiple ways. I received an AAS in 1984 at Alfred State College and was a nominee for Reatial Management Student of the Year. I worked full time and part time while obtaining my BA from Troy State University while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
