My comments on tutoring Special Education : I have successfully tutored students that have autism,and dyslexia.

I give the students a skills assessment to identify which concepts they need assistance with. I help the students improve their grades at school by working with them on those concepts in addition to helping them with the concepts they are currently working on in school. I also provide help with homework and online classes. I provide one on one tutoring to the students according to their learning style. I can also tutor students that have special needs. My teaching style is based on reading then reviewing. At that point in time ask questions to see if the student has grasped the information being given. If not, answer questions then clarify. When reviewing information it is important to make sure the student knows reasoning behind subject matter so that they are understanding logic and not just memorizing information. In subjects that invloves math such as probability, chemistry, or statistics, I would do a few examples followed by letting the tutee working a few problems.
