Teaching needs to adjust with each student or class, because everyone has their own flavor for learning. I tend to let the student take the lead at first, and then I try to guide them through the areas they're questioning. It's like a car on a road with a new driver: the student is driving all over the road, and I need to gently urge them into the right lane (or the correct answer). I also like to use real world examples when I can from my past experience, and encourage the student to do so as well.

As a recent graduated of the University of Minnesota-Duluth I am a very motivated and energetic person. I earned a 4 year degree in 3 1/2 by taking college level classes in high school and taking extra classes each semester. As a Communication student I took many journalism and writing classes and am familiar with different writing styles as well as citing formats such as MLA and APA which I know can be difficult for many students.
